Night Sky

Not sure if this will ever fit in the work I'm doing, but whatever. It seemed to make sense to photograph just the sky. Why not? It takes the theme of night, and the light produced specifically at night, and abstracts it. There are of course countless variables, the sky would always be different, and perhaps returning to that is a worthwhile endeavor.

  1. Good stuff, I could see how images like these might fit nicely. This one makes me think a bit of Hiroshi Sugimoto's seascapes and also even maybe a little bit about Trevor Paglen's sky/satellite images (more conceptually than formally in the latter case)...

  2. Sugimoto came to my mind too. Even his movie theaters could be a correlative. I will definitely have more to come with this.
