Readings

Some books I'm currently reading for school that are pretty interesting, both assigned and recommended, are listed below.

Why Art Matters as Photography as Never Before, the classic Society of the Spectacle, Heidegger's On the Origin of Art, and Walter Benjamin's Illuminations. These works read nicely together and some are good foundations of thinking about contemporary art and photography.

I'm also going to be getting into Camera Lucida shortly as well as some Foucault.
