Line

My line. These are supposed to be meditative and practiced for years, but this was one of my first tries. No, this was my first. So needless to say, its probably missing that whole years of practice and reflection thing. Plus I'm just some American painting in a style from a culture I don't know. But that doesn't ever seem to stop anyone, now does it? Nevertheless, it is mine. And it is what it is. That's my zen moment and attitude about this.

I've found painting can be a satisfying enterprise. My technique is suspect, but whatever. Remember, its better to do something wrong than to do nothing at all.
